The world’s most well known reality television star, Kim Kardashian, has welcomed her fourth child via surrogate
The 38-year-old and her rap star husband, Kanye West, announced they were to have another child when Kim appeared on Watch What Happens Live in January.
The pair told their family during an episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians in the same week.
The baby was born on Thursday, May 9, and Kim had to cancel an appearance to surprise her mother, Kris Jenner, on the Ellen DeGeneres Show.
Older sister, Kourtney, 39, took her place and announced live on the show that Kim’s surrogate had gone into labour, to the delight of the audience.

Kim took to social media to announce the arrival, stating on Twitter: “He’s here and he’s perfect.”
She added that the baby boy looked just like Chicago and weighed six pounds and nine ounces.
The E! reality TV star had North and Saint naturally but suffered with placenta eccreta, a condition in which her placenta does not come away after birth and can cause haemorrhage.
She was advised by her doctors that carrying another child could be life threatening and so after much deliberation the couple turned to surrogacy to add to their family.

She said in a recent chat with her grandmother, MJ, that if it wasn’t for surrogates, she would not be able to expand her family.
The beauty mogul said: “Honestly, when it’s done, I think it was the best decision I ever made. I think it was such an amazing experience I would recommend it for anyone.
“I am the biggest fan of surrogacy. All my fears of everything that I thought was going to happen; am I going to connect? Am I going to feel connected? All of that goes out the door and you just instantly feel connected.”
The couple have yet to reveal the baby’s name but it is sure to attract attention from across the globe.
