The world’s most well known reality television star, Kim Kardashian, has talked candidly about her positive surrogacy experience on the latest edition of Keeping Up With The Kardashians

The 37-year-old welcomed Chicago West on January 15 2018 with rapper husband, Kanye West and said she couldn’t have wished for a better experience of surrogacy.

She said: “The moment I laid eyes on my baby I was so in love. I am just so excited to have this addition to my family.”

When her grandmother, MJ asked her how she felt to be a mother but not carry the baby for the full time, she said it was a great thing.

The beauty mogul said: “Honestly, when it’s done, I think it was the best decision I ever made. I think it was such an amazing experience I would recommend it for anyone.

“I am the biggest fan of surrogacy. All my fears of everything that I thought was going to happen; am I going to connect? Am I going to feel connected? All of that goes out the door and you just instantly feel connected.”

Chicago was the couple’s third child, they welcomed North, six and Saint, two and had to have the help of a surrogate after Kim suffered life-threatening condition, placenta accreta, in which the placenta embeds into the womb after birth and can cause haemorrhaging, in her two previous pregnancies.

She said of the surrogacy process: “It is crazy how professional surrogacy is and how instantly when the baby came out there was no weird feeling that I was so nervous about, am I going to connect? Am I going to feel the same way as if it’s me birthing my kid, and it was, the same exact feeling. That was instantly a relief for me as that was what I most nervous about and I just feel so lucky that I’ve had such a good experience of surrogacy.”

Kim revealed several months ago she would like to have at least one more child via surrogacy to complete her family.
