A lesbian couple from Kent are appealing for help to raise £5,500 for a special type of IVF
Sian Faye and her fiancee Bianca Johnson, from Folkestone, would like to raise the funds for reciprocal IVF.
The process involves one of the women donating her egg and the other carrying the child through pregnancy once they have chosen a sperm donor.
The couple have been together two years and already have nine-year-old daughter, Elsie-Mai, Sian’s daughter from a previous relationship, but would dearly love a child together.
They have started saving for the process, as well as hosting several fundraising events, and have been overwhelmed by the support they have so far received.
Sian said: “We are overwhelmed by the support of people around us, not only for the donations made via our justgiving page but also people who have been part of our fundraising events so far and other generous donations made, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.”
They already raised over £2,600.
