Olympic diver Tom Daley and his film director husband, Dustin Black, have announced they are to become parents
The delighted couple, who married in Devon in May 2017, shared the news via their social media page on Instagram, with a scan of their baby.
Tom, 23, and Dustin, 43, announced the news with the words “Happy Valentine’s Day!” to their thousands of followers, who soon showered the couple with congratulations.
A spokesman for the couple told the Press Association: “Tom and Dustin are thrilled to share that they are expecting their first child in 2018.”
The couple have spoken of their desire to become parents, with Dustin telling OUT magazine that they had it in their plans, but needed to get married and make a home first.
Tom told the Mirror he wanted to have an army of kids.
Little else is known about the pregnancy, but Tom’s mother is believed to be ‘delighted’ at the news.
